You could say I have been a photographer a good portion of my life. Friends, family, children, places…with photo books and bins full of pictures to show for it. Several cameras and iPhones later, I found myself drawn to the beauty of places, people and life events. As the photo equipment and the software improved, my love of photography grew. I then had an opportunity to train for a week with professionals on a fall shoot in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where we jumped into our group’s Wranglers and made our way to the waterfalls and woods off of Lake Superior. A life-changing experience which launched my professional photography career. While I enjoy the amazing beauty of landscapes, I also cherish the moments spent with families and individuals, seeking to capture their personalities and life presence. Whether it is a memorializing a hoiiday or family, capturing a model’s image, creating a business portrait or being part of a pet’s playfulness, I enjoy my work and seeking to create the perfect picture.
